Panel talks about better serving members with special needs

As we serve in the Church, many of us will be given the responsibility of working with, or caring for someone with a disability.

Several years ago, the First Presidency issued a statement inviting members to seek creative ways of providing religious training for those with physical, mental, and emotional impairments.The statement read:

"It is our opportunity and our responsibility to follow the example of Jesus in loving our neighbors...and that includes those with disabilities"

One of the first steps to loving someone is to understand them.

A panel of individuals with experience in dealing with special needs talked with host Michelle King about ways members can better deal and love those who are different.
