(KSL News) Two police officers in the polygamous town of Hildale, Utah, have resigned.
The Deseret Morning News reports Hildale town marshals Fred and Preston Barlow resigned over accusations about their allegiance to FLDS Church leader Warren Jeffs.
The two were cross-deputized in Colorado City, Arizona, but they lost their certifications there in September.
Proceedings are under way to revoke their certifications in Utah even though the two have resigned.
