(KSL News) More Utah students are going abroad to study.

During the 2005-2006 school year, the number of Utah college students enrolled in study-abroad programs jumped 21 percent from the year before.

Brigham Young University had the highest number of students heading overseas and ranks 16th nationally when it comes to exchange students.

BYU officials say they hope to up that number by sending more students to its recently reopened Jerusalem Center.
