(KSL News) For more than 30 years John Longhurst has filled Salt Lake's Tabernacle with music, but tomorrow he'll "tickle the ivories" for the last time.

Longhurst became curious about the pipe organ as a teen. That curiosity turned into a life-long career.

Along with playing the organ, Longhurst also composed some well-known hymns including "I Believe in Christ."

He'll give his final performance tomorrow during the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's weekly broadcast of "Music and the Spoken Word."
