Andrew Adams, KSL Newsradio BYU and University of Utah football players might tape up a certain way, eat a special pre-game meal, or worse. What about the fans?

"For the big games I'm pretty superstitious," Josh Steiger said. He puts on the same BYU shirt and eats the same meal.

It's that 1984 karma. "I was one years old, and I can still remember," Josh said.

Rick Brunson is a Ute. He says forget good-luck charms, the Utes are gonna roll. "We don't need any socks or anything, we've got the talent," he said.
