(KSL News) The reward for information about a grisly horse killing in Washington County is now up to $8,000.
In September, a Washington County rancher found one of his horses, "Crookneck," dead. The killer shot Crookneck about 50 times with a small-caliber gun in the stomach and neck. The horse died a slow and agonizing death.
The Humane Society of Utah reports another anonymous donor added an additional thousand dollars to the bounty for the horse killer. They hope the money will motivate someone to reveal who committed the crime.
