(KSL News) -- A former San Rafael Junior High School teacher pleaded no contest to one count of attempted forcible sexual abuse.

Brandy Yates was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old male student. Prosecutors say the contact took place off school grounds.

She faces up to five years in prison when she is sentenced in July.
