(KSL News) A man is in custody this morning after an overnight standoff with police.
The standoff started around 9:00 last night after police responded to a domestic dispute in Bluffdale.
Officials tell us the man involved barricaded himself in his house, locking his family outside. His wife told officers he was violent and had access to several firearms.
The man refused to negotiate with SWAT teams, and they eventually lost contact with him. They sent a robot into the home and found the man asleep.
They took him into custody without incident.
