Lance Bandley ReportingThe economy is so good right now in Utah that some employers are struggling to find workers, and some say that means good things for employees.
Utah's job growth rate is three times the national average and that has helped the state's unemployement rate drop clear down to 3.4 percent.
"This creates an environment where the employee, so to speak, has the advantage or the upper hand because you can get into job jumping.
Dept. of Workforce Services Senior Economist Mark Knold says you as an employee have a lot of options with jobs and that creates an environment for hire wages which may be great for you but not what your bosses wanted to hear. Knold says construction, business and professional jobs are contributing to the greatest growth.
"Population growth is driving the economies of the rocky mountain states."
