SALT LAKE CITY — Students, parents, school officials and UDOT on Wednesday kicked off "Walk More in Four," an annual statewide safe walking and biking to school challenge.
This year, the competition, which encourages all Utah students to walk or bike safely to school at least three days each week during the four weeks in September, offers a $500 prize and the Golden Tennis Shoe trophy for the school with the most participation.
Additionally, students chart their progress for a chance to win prizes including helmets, scooters and bikes.
