(KSL News) If you've had questions about the rules and regulations about Medicare, now's your chance to get some answers.
At 9:00 this morning the 19th annual Hatch Senior Conference will kick off at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake. The conference will focus on Medicare Part D, prescription drug coverage.
Senator Orin Hatch organizes the conference and says he's not surprised seniors have questions.
Sen. Orin Hatch: "Some people are mixed up. The bill is very complex. It had to be. We had to satisfy democrats and republicans in the Senate and the House. So it is really more complex than I'd like it to be, but it's still an excellent bill. It gives seniors a real chance to be able to have the pharmaceuticals that they need without having to split pills or cut them in half or do without."
Senator Hatch says every senior needs to understand now, because if seniors don't enroll by May 15 the penalty is no coverage for a year.
The conference is free to the public.
