(KSL News) The driver of a van involved in a crash that killed two undocumented workers being smuggled into the United States pleaded guilty.

Noe Luna-Escanola admitted he was transporting 16 illegal aliens -- none of whom were wearing seatbelts -- when he fell asleep and drifted off US 191 near Moab in October 2005.

He overcorrected, causing the van to roll.

Two Guatemalan women died.

Authorities are still searching for the alleged ringleader, Ramses Castellano-Lin.
