(KSL News) Two neighbors got into a fight, one armed with a gun, the other with a machete.
St. George police say a 20-year-old man wielding a machete knocked on his neighbor's door and said he wanted to hurt somebody. The homeowner pulled out a gun and punched the other man.
The gun discharged, hitting the man with the machete in the abdomen.
Officers followed a trail of blood to the victim's home and found him lying on his bed. He was rushed the hospital in serious condition.
The shooter was booked into jail pending further investigation.
