(KSL News) A Summit County educator was arrested during a child Internet sex sting.

Members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Forces say they arrested Alexander Johnson last week.

Task force members says Johnson talked about sexual activity and set up a meeting with what he thought was a teenage girl. The Deseret Morning News reports that teenage girl was actually a group of investigators who chatted with Johnson online.

Johnson's arrest followed a months-long investigation.

He works in schools for the Summit County Health Department teaching drug and alcohol prevention programs to students.
