(KSL News) A man who escaped from the Daggett County Jail in September really doesn't want to be behind bars.
Juan Carlos Diaz-Arevalo is currently serving a sentence for the murder of Lindsey Fawson, as well as facing charges in connection with the escape.
However, his lawyers claim he shouldn't be in prison at all and that when he pleaded guilty to the murder last year he had no idea what he was doing. They want the conviction vacated.
The Utah Court of Appeals has taken the motion under advisement.
