(KSL News) Today is the day many people have been waiting for, or is it?
The South Towne Shopping Center is holding an open house today to celebrate the "end" of road construction around the mall, but when Chopper 5 flew over, something seemed to be missing: the actual "end" of the construction.
There are still plenty of orange cones and construction going on in the area. UDOT says the construction isn't quite finished yet. Crews are still working on landscaping and some other projects.
They hope to have everything finished by next week. That is, until the spring when they say they'll have more work to do.
Meanwhile, the mall's celebration runs through tomorrow.
