(KSL News) Nu Skin Enterprises dispelled a rumor.
In the last five weeks, the Provo company slashed 176 jobs. Many speculated it had to do with a rumored takeover. Avon Products is apparently interested in buying Nu Skin.
Nu Skin won't comment on a potential deal, but says the re-organization had nothing to do with Avon, and also said the layoffs have ended.
Officials said the cuts will save the company 20 million dollars a year. Nu Skin employs more than 1,200 people in Utah County.
