WELLSVILLE — Passerby rescued a couple involved in a rollover.

A couple was driving near Wellsville Saturday when their car rolled over into a field. According to witnesses who helped the couple, the woman in the passenger's seat was being strangled by her seat belt when they arrived. Bryan Palmer, who responded was able to cut the seat belt and free the woman from the car.

Others on scene helped the man out of the car.

"This is why I love Cache Valley," Heather Palmer, Bryan Palmer's wife said. "There are always people willing to stop and help in any situation."

The couple was shaken up, but physically alright, witnesses say.
