(KSL News) A Washington County man is recovering this morning after being shot while pheasant hunting.
The 55-year-old man was hunting with friends in the Diamond Valley yesterday morning when he got in the line of fire of another hunter's gun. Shotgun pellets peppered the man's face and chest.
He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office has classified the incident as an accident.
