SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A developer who snapped up thousands of acres of land near Heber City is filing incorporation papers for a ski town he wants to name Aspen, Utah.
Dean Sellers says he's going to build a luxury ski resort like Deer Valley -- complete with houses, hotels, a golf course and retail and commercial development.
Sellers, a big-time Arizona developer, says he has the money to make it happen -- with help from some investors.
Wasatch County officials say they know little about the developer.
Sellers told The Associated Press his land in Daniels Canyon was ideal for a ski area. It would be oriented to the northeast, dotted with mature Aspen trees to an elevation of 9,000 feet.
