While visiting family, Rick and his brother-in-law decided to take a day trip to a local reservoir. After catching and releasing a bunch of fish from his float tube, Rick stuck a fish he felt was bigger than the 17-19 inch rainbows he'd been pulling out...One quick flash from the water and he knew this one was a keeper...Check out the 30 inch, 12 pound hog Rick pulled out of Minersville Reservoir...This rainbow had an 18 inch girth and rates up there with the King Salmon Rick normally catches off the coast of California.

Kevin was fishing near Big Creek when he thought he had a snag...Much to his surprise, the snag came loose and he realized what he had caught was a water snake! After reeling it in, he figured out the snake actually was in the middle of lunch, this bullhead catfish was tightly clutched in the snake's mouth. The snake kept it's vice-grip on the fish until it was returned to the water...I guess it was not going to part with its meal.

Terry and his good buddy Curtis have been hitting the Baja for the last 12 years...He tells us, he doesn't know how many more days of fishing they'll have together... You see, Curtis is battling cancer and was in-between chemo rounds when they decided to head south and chase some Dorado once again.

[CG :2 Line\Dustin Eddy\Making Memories]

The Eddy family was vacationing in Southern Utah and decided to fish the Boulder Mountains...This was one of the best fishing trips they have ever had...The kids were having a blast reeling in fish...At times even doubling up! It took them less than 3 hours to fill all of their limits...What a great way to spend your vacation.

[CG :2 Line\Gerald Dibb\Winner!]

But our winner tonight is 9 year old Kooper who went on a week-long trip with his dad and the varsity scouts up in the Boulders. Needless to say Kooper out-fished all of the older scouts including his dad and took home the prize for having caught the biggest fish of the trip, this huge tiger trout. His goal now is to catch every species of fish that calls Utah home. Well, Kooper, congrats on your trip, the fish and now for having won our grand prize from Campchef for having the snapshot of the week!
