WENDOVER, Utah (AP) -- The city of Wendover has hired the Tooele County sheriff's office to patrol the streets.

The move comes after the police chief resigned in August, following his wife's arrest in a Nevada strip club.

Sylvia Tripp was arrested in Elko County, Nev., just over the Utah-Nevada line, on suspicion of drug distribution. The bust occurred at Southern X-Posure, a strip club where Tripp performed as "Ecstasy."
