Tom Callan, KSL Newsradio The Christmas Grinch has come to Farmington.
The traditional three-day Farmington Christmas is cancelled, including the home tour to see the Christmas lights. There are just not enough volunteers.
Mayor Scott Harbertson explained, "Youth City Council has been very involved, and they were willing to be involved, but they can't take the whole thing."
Harbertson says it is not just Christmas, but Farmington is struggling to find volunteers for everything, even for Farmington Festival Days. "The volunteers, we advertise for them, we encourage them," Harbertson said.
After the first of the year they will look for volunteers again to save Christmas '08.
