(KSL News) With the 2007 election season nearly over, Utah Democrats are focusing their attention on Davis County for 2008.

The Deseret Morning News reports the party will run for every partisan seat up for election, but that may take some work. A Democrat has not been elected to the Davis County Commission since 1990.

A party spokesperson said the county has suffered while under Republican rule. But he says he wants the parties to work together to make things better.
