(KSL News) At Lincoln Elementary, 520 elementary school children below the poverty line created their Christmas wish lists today.
The children at the inner-city school created Christmas ornaments listing one "need" and one "want." The ornaments will hang at a branch of the Utah Central Credit Union in the hopes members of the community will help out.
The program is in its 11th year. The principal says most of the kids ask for things for their family members instead of themselves.
