SALT LAKE CITY — Crews are working to repair two water main breaks and two streets near Trolley Square in Salt Lake City.

The two breaks happened early this morning. One is at 650 East and 600 South. The second is nearby, at 800 East and 750 South.

The water department says the reason for the breaks is unknown.

A second crew was called in around 3 a.m. to help with repairs. Water to at least six businesses had to be shut off while the water mains are repaired.

Affected roads probably won't reopen until close to 10 a.m.

In Ogden, a sinkhole has forced the closure of part of Washington Boulevard for the next two days. The southbound lane is closed from 32nd Street to 34th Street.

The hole happened during a resurfacing project.
