(KSL News) Thick brush may have contributed to the death of a hunter in Summit County.
William Short, 44, died on the opening day of the deer hunt after being shot in the stomach by a hunting companion.
Investigators say they do not believe the shooting was intentional, and that the gun may have discharged after getting snagged on the brush or as the hunter was trying to untangle it.
