(KSL News) Street racing possibly caused an accident in Taylorsville today.
Witnesses say two Honda Civics started racing on 5400 South. The silver car hit a semi truck, spun out of control and went into the path of a dump truck. That dump truck tipped over and spilled asphalt all over the road.
The silver car kept going, went into oncoming traffic and smashed into a pickup truck. Police say debris from the crash hit an SUV.
The driver of the car and the driver of the dump truck went to the hospital in serious condition.
Police are still interviewing witnesses.
