(KSL News) The cost of college tuition is going up, but experts say higher education in Utah is still a great deal.
The Deseret Morning News reports that Utah's tuition has increased 8 to 9 percent each year in the past five years. That's faster than the national rate of about 6.5 percent each year.
However, Utah's average tuition at four-year public schools falls in the same range as other public universities and costs about half as much as four-year private colleges.
