(KSL News) Three men who robbed a Salt Lake restaurant are still on the run.

The owners of Julia's Mexican Food at 117 S. 1000 West say the men approached them yesterday as they were opening the restaurant around 7 a.m.

Police say one man held a knife to the female owner's throat and the others forced her husband into his truck at gunpoint and drove off.

Marabel Avila's parents own the restaurant. She said, "They took the wallet, they took the drivers license, identification, everything."

The suspects then kicked the owner out of the truck and even fired shots at him. He wasn't hurt.

Police have a vague description of the three robbers.
