(KSL News) Wet roads and speed are believed to be factors in a car crash near the Salt Lake International airport.
The driver of a Ford Ranger for some reason slammed into a curb and launched into a nearby pole.
An 8-year-old passenger was flown to Primary Children's Medical Center in critical condition. The driver also was hospitalized.
Investigators say they're looking into why the Ford Ranger had license plates that were registered for another vehicle.
