Semi Truck Takes Down Power Lines

(KSL News) There were some scary moments for a truck driver in Salt Lake City tonight.

His semi truck hit a power line along Highland Drive at about 2700 South. The live power lines came down on his truck, so crews couldn't rescue him until power to the line was shut off.

When the accident first happened, several vehicles drove over the power lines until police shut down traffic all around the intersection of Highland Drive and 1300 East.
