(KSL News) A gas leak in Provo this afternoon forced people out of their homes.
The leak, near 3900 North on Foothill Drive, began when a semi truck that appeared to have lost its brakes hit a metal shed that houses gas lines.
Police set up quarter of a mile perimeter around the area. The situation is now resolved and nobody was injured.
The gas has been turned off, and authorities hope to let residents back into their homes around 7 p.m.
