(KSL News) Dive teams have recovered the body of a South Jordan girl from Lake Powell.
Kamberlie Binks was playing with a brother on the docks near her family's houseboat Monday when she vanished.
An endangered person advisory was issued last night after someone reported seeing a girl matching Kamberlie's description yesterday.
But today her body was found in the water near the Bullfrog Marina.
Dogs brought in from Arizona followed the girl's scent to the water, Kane County Sheriff Lamont Smith said.
Smith says a dive team from the Utah Department of Public Safety using side-scan sonar equipment located the girl's body in about 110 feet of water this afternoon.
It appears that she fell in the water on Monday and drowned.
