Tom Callan, KSL Newsradio A bus driver who came to the aid of a woman who was being robbed says he didn't think much of his actions.
He went with his gut. No hesitation, no second thoughts. Bus driver Ken Sampley heard the frantic screams on 200 South and decided to get up and run after the thug stealing the purse of a 62-year-old woman.
"I was parked right here in front of the Salt Palace reading my newspaper, and I heard screaming, and I looked over and I seen a lady being attacked," Sampley said.
He says the woman thanked him with a hug.
The mugger is booked for robbery. As for Ken, he would do it again.
