SALT LAKE CITY - We've got some Valentine's Day stuff to get you excited about the much loved/hated holiday and also one tid bit that has nothing to do with love, but does have some racial insensitivity to it. So, enjoy.

#poll

It's not the first time we've seen it, but it's still enjoyable. Airman Jamie Walden is an active-duty member of the military in Shreveport, LA and she's hoping to score a big date for the Military Ball.

Walden posted a video to YouTube asking "Rocky Mountain Savior" himself, Tim Tebow, to be her date to the upcoming Military ball.

In the video Walden gets her friends and even her own mom to plead her case in hopes Tebow will say yes. In 2011 both Mia Kunis and Justin Timberlake accompanied active military personnel to their Military Balls and Walden's hoping Tebow will follow in their footsteps.

Swimmer Matt Grevers Proposes

According to the kid's track record and humble demeanor I think most of us are betting the Broncos' south paw will say yes, but there is still no answer from Tebow.

Swimming in Love

Matt Grevers is a swimmer, an Olympian and now a soon to be husband.

The U.S. National team member, Grevers, took first in his competition at the 2012 Missouri Grand Prix and much to the shock of his girlfriend and fellow swimmer, Annie Chandler, she was asked to present the medals.

Jimmer, "Kings Password"

Chandler didn't place in her race and was confused as to why she would be asked to present the medals, but it all became clear when Grevers dropped to one knee and popped the question. For anyone wondering, she said yes.

Jimmer, the King of Love

Jimmer participated in the "Kings Password" game with teammate Donte Greene. Jimmer has a list of Valentine's words he needs to get Greene to guess just by giving him clues.

Some of Jimmer's description words were interesting choices, but the best has to be when he mentions Russell Stover's chocolates and Greene has no idea what he's talking about.

Jeremy Lin
Jeremy Lin

Maryweather vs. Lin

Lin-sanity is in full swing and undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has decided to take a swing at the kid.

Mayweather tweeted on Monday: "Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don't get the same praise."

Mayweather has been known to throw around racial opinions especially at rival boxer Manny Pacquiao. In 2010 Mayweather made an online video using racial and homophobic slurs against the Filipino boxer.

I agree with Mayweather that there are a large number of amazing players in the NBA who are not getting the praise Lin is. But does he realize that Lin has scored 137 points in his first five starts. Do you know how many players whether they are White, Asian or black have done that since the ABA-NBA merger? Zero.
