(KSL News) -- The Utah Animal Rights Coalition hopes a reward will help them catch the person who stabbed and beat a cow in Salt Lake County.
The group says the cow was killed last July in South Jordan. Since then, the case has become stagnant. The organization is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the crime.
Sean Diener, Utah Animal Rights Coalition: "This sort of violence is a good sign that there is somebody on the loose that is very capable of not only doing it to other cats and dogs or farm animals, but also humans as well."
If you have any information about the crime, you're asked to contact the Utah Animal Rights Coalition.
