(KSL News) -- Flames erupted at an industrial complex in Salt Lake City.
A driver passing by happened to spot the smoke last night and called 911.
Fire crews broke into the facility, located near 1560 S. 2760 West, and found a pallet of wood on fire. They quickly stopped the flames from spreading, but the fire did cause damage to one building.
Erman Curtis, Business Owner: "Oh, I'm totally shell shocked. I'm absolutely devastated; I don't know what I'm going to do at this point."
Business owner Erman Curtis says the fire caused so much damage to equipment in his building, that he will be out of business for at least a month or two.
Erman Curtis, Company Owner: "There's damage to the roof and to the side of it, the fork lift has lights melted, some electrical problems looks like, and one saw is completely destroyed."
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire, but they don't think it's suspicious.
