(KSL News) The public got its first look at the new IHC hospital in Murray today.

One visitor told KSL, "I mean comparatively it's such a massive, beautiful structure that there's nothing really to compare it to."

Another said, "You can get lost in this place, it's huge."

The Intermountain Medical Center will serve as a regional destination and trauma center for the Intermountain West. Services will be spread through five buildings on the 100-acre campus. The hospital will have the latest technology such as robotic surgery and advanced cancer treatments.

It opens to patients in October.
