(KSL News) -- Authorities in southern Utah have released the names of two former corrections officers linked to a sex scandal at the Purgatory Correctional Facility.
The Hurricane City Police Department conducted an investigation into alleged sexual misconduct.
The department says former corrections Sergeant Charles Mrkvicka and former correction Deputy Brian Stubbs had inappropriate relationships with female inmates at the jail. Investigators believe the misconduct was an isolated incident.
The case will now be sent to the Beaver County Attorney's Office to determine if charges will be filed.
