(KSL News) -- A garbage truck slammed into a pedestrian this morning as he crossed the street.
Police say the 56-year-old was not in a crosswalk. He darted into the road, right in the path of the truck.The driver didn't see the man until it was too late.
He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
