(KSL News) We now know the name of the student who died at Evergreen Junior High earlier this week.

Kent Severinsen was 13 years old. He was running in gym class when he suddenly fell to the ground and stopped breathing.

A teacher trained in emergency rescue tried to resuscitate him, but couldn't.

Teachers say Kent was a thoughtful and outgoing boy, with a lot of friends. Kids at school are having a hard time dealing with his death.

This week, students put one of his desks in the hallway, and wrote messages all over it, to commemorate him. Doctors still aren't sure why Kent died.
