(KSL News) A man walking across the street was hit by a car and killed.
It happened last night at 700 East near 4000 South.
Sheriff's deputies say a man wearing dark clothing was crossing outside a crosswalk. It was dark and raining outside.
A car ran into him, and the driver continued for about a block. He stopped, called 911, then went back to check on the victim. Rescue crews couldn't revive the victim.
