LOGAN -- An overheated electrical wire sparked a house fire in Logan.

Firefighters say they saw heavy smoke and flames in an attached garage of the home at 570 W. Center Street. When crews arrived, the fire had started to spread into the house.

One person had to be taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation but is expected to recover.

Several pets in the home got out safely, as well.
