(KSL News) A dump truck ran a red light and caused a five-car pileup today at 800 North and Main Street in Orem.
Witnesses say the truck driven by 51-year-old Miguel Hidalgo of Spanish Fork broadsided a minivan and pushed it into three other vehicles that were stopped for the red light on the opposite side of the intersection.
The driver of the minivan, 61-year-old Janet Shorten, died at the scene.
