Dina Freedman ReportingWarm temperatures overnight contributed to more snow melt across Northern Utah. Emmigration Creek was running at higher levels last night than it has in years, but it has subsided some during the day even with additional heavy rain.
Crews were cleaning out the creek to avoid back-ups, and at this time they say that no one in danger but there is some water on the road.

Brian McInerney, Hydrologist: "What we do have is some premature melt that's going on at a low level, and some rain fall combined, and rivers are picking up during this event. Once this comes through today, it's going to get even colder, it's going to turn to snow and we shouldn't have any problems."
Flooding doesn't appear to be an immediate problem, but Salt Lake County did place some sand bags out for residents who may need them along the canyon road.
