SALT LAKE CITY -- Not only did Utahns not have a white Christmas, the state hasn't seen much snow at all this winter.
Last year at this time, most mountains in the state had more than 100 percent of the normal snowpack. Some areas had well over 200 percent, and the snow kept falling.
This year is a different story. Utah's snow survey supervisor, Randy Julander, says most of Utah is at 50 to 60 percent of average snowpack.
"But, you know, each day, each week we get closer to spring, then you start to worry," he said.
Still, Julander says Utah residents should not be worried yet. The next few months could generate some major snowfall.
In the meantime, Utahns are making the best of the non-winter-like weather. Click on the extra video clip above to see how a few Utahn's used Tuesday's warm weather to their advantage.
