(KSL News) A tragic accident in Riverton. An SUV ran over a 4-year-old girl and killed her Sunday night. It happened near 11800 South and 800 West.
The police department has not released much information, but they did tell us the person who owns the SUV didn't live at the home.
The little girl was being dropped off at the home at the time of the accident. She died on the scene.
Deputies won't say if the driver was backing out of the driveway or if the vehicle somehow rolled down the driveway.
The accident is under investigation.
