The Aggies' 12-5 run to open the second half broke open the game. They broke a periodic full-court press employed by the Redhawks for several easy buckets, including a dunk by Berger. Utah State had six steals and 18 points off turnovers in the game.

Utah State scored 28 points from the free-throw line, while the Redhawks were 12 of 18 from the line.
