(KSL News) There are a lot of conventions that come to Salt Lake City, and they bring in people of all types, but not often do they come dressed up like science fiction characters.
The Mountain-Con III is a convention of science fiction buffs that opened today at the University Marriott Hotel.
This year's convention will feature film screenings, panel discussions, workshops, television and movie props and plenty of costumes.
Mountain-Con III will run through Sunday. They're expecting 1,000 people to show up, including David Prowse, the man who wore Darth Vader's mask for the first three Star Wars movies.
